Cheesy Tomato Puff Pastry Twists

Ingredients:

  • Puff pastry sheet
  • Tomato purée or finely chopped tomatoes
  • Grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Dried oregano or mixed herbs
  • Egg (for glazing)

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C
  2. Roll out the puff pastry
  3. Spread a thin layer of tomato purée
  4. Sprinkle over cheese and herbs
  5. Fold pastry over and cut into strips
  6. Twist each strip and place on a tray
  7. Brush with egg wash
  8. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden
