Sideshoots took part in the Growers United event in July 2013 at the new Evesham United Ground. They reached the semi final in a 24 team event. Three members played against WBA on the same day and player Plamen scored the only goal when they lost 9-1. Sideshoots won a trophy in 2012 but in 2013 Sideshoots came second in all league standings.
On August 4th 2013 Rick is cycling 100 miles for Macmillan Cancer Support. As a novice he would be delighted in anyone would care to sponsor him at http:/www.justgiving.com/Rick-Holt. He believes this is a great cause that many people can benefit from and hopes to enjoy the day as well. It starts at the Olympic Park and finishes on The Mall and follows part of the Olympic ride last year but only once up Box Hill!
Beginning of April 2014 saw the completion of the new glasshouse at Sandylands Nurseries. A CHP unit, new engine and LED inter-lighting to aid winter production has been put in. Laura & Fliss have finally relocated office to the first floor in the new glasshouse area!
Fladbury Primary School visited 23rd September 2011. It was great to show such a well behaved and interested group around.
Second league cup this year won by Side Shoots FC.
Fliss joined in Spring 2010 to aid the Accounts Section and help with Staff Welfare, Induction, Training and Liaison.
We won our appeal at Springhill Farm to build a new 12 acre block of glass and we are now up and running.
