To start this new year off, on Sunday 3rd January Roly took part in a 5.5 mile off-road race along the banks of the river Avon through Fladbury village. The run is organised by Friends of Fladbury Community group and this year the profits will be split between Worcestershire Breast Unit Campaign and the Friends of Fladbury funds which supports community projects and groups in Fladbury. Despite the miserable weather Roly came in the mid teens.

In June (2015), the chef Brian Turner came over to do some filming for his series ‘My Life on a Plate’. Roly can be seen talking to Brian Turner at Sandylands Nurseries in the programme looking at Alistair McGowan’s life in the Vale of Evesham. The part of the series R & L Holt feature in was shown on BBC 1 Tuesday 10th November.

This year Side shoots FC reached the last 16 out of 32 teams. Last year they were runners up. Roly and Plamen then played for Growers United against Soap stars the same day but lost 3-0. It’s the taking part that counts. Nonetheless, a good effort. Again, money raised goes to Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Cancer Research.
