There are four glasshouses: Tom, Dick, Harry and Fred, which cover a total area of 4 acres. The newest is Fred, built in 2000, which covers an area of 7300m2. Fred was equipped with thermal screens and hanging gutters in 2007.

Chris Rose is the Site Manager at Sandylands Nurseries and has been with the company for over 20 years.
